Einstein’s outdated concept of Universe

Einstein tried to explain his idea of Universe in year 1917.

His Universe was flawed. Static and finite universe. Stars at cosmic distances were relatively static. There was no movement of anything at cosmic scales.

Finite cosmos and no movement induced in him the fear that universe will collapse under gravity. Therefore he introduced cosmological constant in his equations so that universe may not collapse.

His universe had constant curvature – the idea which now has been discarded through modern observations. Einstein also miserably failed in acknowledging the existence of galaxies and thus he also failed in knowing that stars (in galaxy) were is movement faster than what his theory could ‘predict’.

Like many other outdated primitive ideas, Einstein also had one such theory of Universe.
